Required Qualification:

Candidates must hold M. Phil in Population Sciences /Social Sciences/ Statistics/ Mathematics or M.P.S. along with 1 year experience or should hold M.A. /M.Sc. in population sciences from a recognized University along with 2 years experience in handling large-scale surveys in health/social sector/ Health Facility surveys or should hold Masters in Social Science along with 2 years experience in handling large-scale surveys in health/social sector/ Health Facility surveys.

Pay Scale:

Selected candidates will be offered Rs. 30000/- pay scale.

Age Limit:

Age limit for candidates is specified as per IIPS rules.

Process of selection:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in interview of this Government recruitment 2014.

The International Institute for Population Sciences works as a regional Institute for Training and Research in Population Studies for the ESCAP region. It has a unique position in all the regional centers. It was the first such center to be started, and serves a much larger population than that served by any of the other regional centers. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India has administrative control over it. Along with teaching & research activities, it also provides consultancy to the Government and Non-Government organizations and other academic institutions.
