Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation Ltd. (GSFDC) has announced recruitment for the Post of Junior Research Fellow and Laboratory Attendant. Interested candidates can apply on or before 19th February 2015.

Pay Scale:

For JRF- Rs. 24,000 pm + HRA

For Project Fellow: as per university norms.

LA: Rs 7000 fixed per month

Educational Qualification:

Junior Research Fellow

  • M.Pharma (Pharmacognosy/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry)/ M. Pharma(Ayurveda)/ B.Tech Biotechnology/ M.Sc. (Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry) with NET preferably.
  • Preference: A good knowledge of identification of plants, laboratory work, handling of instruments (HPLC, HPTLC, UV Spectroscopy, microscope etc.) and data interpretation.

Project Fellow 

  • M. Pharma /M. Pharma (Ayurveda)/ B.Tech-Biotechnology/ M.Sc. (Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry) with NET preferably.
  • Preference: A good knowledge of laboratory work and handling of instruments (HPLC, HPTLC, UV Spectroscopy, microscope etc) and data interpretation.

Laboratory Attendant (LA)

  • 12th pass with science stream.
  • Preference: Knowledge of laboratory work and maintenance.

 Selection Process:

candidate will be selected on the basis of written test. The vacancies would be filled up on the basis of knowledge/experience & performance in personal interview by the committee.
